Lamniformes on Radio Free Brooklyn

Hello all!

The funny thing about doing promo for an album is that you get so busy that you forget to do your own promo for your own album, so while I was off showing up on podcasts and releasing music videos and booking radio appearances I completely neglected this lil newsletter.

First order of business, tonight I will be spinning some tunes on Radio Free Brooklyn from 8pm to 10pm EST. You can tune in by going to this link right here. This also means that there won’t be a Lamniformes Radio episode on Monday, sacrifices must be made when it comes to scheduling.

Next, I released a music video for the song “Hypothermia (Saint Thrillah Mix)”, directed by Richard Gin with special effects and makeup by Cammi Upton. This video was a blast to make, even under run-and-gun-and-don’t-get-COVID restrictions.

I’ve also been chugging away at Lamniformes Radio, most recently talking to this video’s director Richard Gin.

You Can’t Do This Alone is out now, and you can either stream it where streams are streamed or you can spend money on it at my bandcamp page, which is the vastly preferable course of action if you ask me.

I’ve got a few drafts of longer letters in the works but haven’t felt particularly motivated to finish any of them. I’ve also been working hard on a new Lamniformes full length record. Maybe once we’re over the hump on that I’ll have more to say in this space. In the meantime, come hang out tonight and listen to me subject the whole of Brooklyn to my idiosyncratic taste in music, truly a dream come true.
