This is a paid-subscriber only playlist of songs that I’ve really enjoyed over the last 15 days, featuring Scottish post-rock, Canadian power metal, a techno remix of a Radiohead song and more.

To my non-paying subscribers, my apologies for not getting this week’s entry of Drumming Upstream out in time. I’ve had a surprisingly busy November so far. The boys in Bellows have committed ourselves to writing a song a day for the month, which has cut into my text-writing hours. My songs have not been good yet, but that’s not the point. On top of that, last week on election day I signed up to be a poll worker in Brooklyn. Great experience, would absolutely do it again and recommend other musicians in-between gigs to try it out as well. Waking up at 4 AM sent my sleep schedule into utter chaos however. And as if that weren’t enough, I’ve also joined two (!!) other bands since coming back from tour. Not making excuses, just explanations. Trust me, it’ll be in your inbox soon.

(oh I also submitted the newest Lamniformes album for mastering, which means that it is well and truly finished. it rules, more on that soon too)
