Welcome back to Playlist Postscript. This month we revisit March 2019. On March 19th 2019 I released Sisyphean, a full length album I’d been working on since 2016. The same week the album dropped I interviewed Have A Nice Life for a feature in Kerrang! then flew out to New Orleans to drum for Bellows on their return trip from SXSW back to Brooklyn. I was really firing on all cylinders. The music I listened to that month is similarly all over the place. I pursued no single vibe. Classical music about America, Afrocentric jazz, Swedish metalcore, 00s Southern rap. You can hear all these sounds and more below the paywall on either Spotify (boo! hiss!) or Apple Music (slightly softer boos and hisses).
